one goodachi, two parents — you and your goomate. it lives in REAL TIME: its hearts drain through the day, messes appear, presents show up, it makes lil wishes, and at night it needs tucking in. six buttons — feed · play · clean · sleep · meds · pat — do whatever you want, whenever you want.
every goodachi starts as an egg. it only hatches when BOTH parents have tapped it — one tap makes a crack, the second breaks it open. the egg is perfectly safe (it can't get hungry or die), so take your time getting your goomate in. the moment it hatches, the care clock starts and the birth certificate is issued.
you can leave one lil sticky note for your goomate ("don't forget lunch!!") — it sticks to their screen until you change it. leaving a note even counts as caring for the day.
when your goodachi really needs something, a yellow ! pops up over its head and the right button starts bouncing. that's it calling for you — sick needs meds, a mess needs cleaning, an empty tummy needs food. whoever of you gets there first, handles it.
tummy hearts drain as it gets hungry — a warm meal fills them right up (a full goo refuses dinner, drama included). joy hearts drain from boredom — playing games fills them fast, treats and pats top them up, and a mess left out drains them FAST.
here's the important part: caring alone only fills the hearts to 3 out of 5. the last hearts only fill when BOTH of you have cared for it today. it takes two.
every so often your goodachi wishes for one small thing — a treat, a pat, or a game. it'll say so in its thought bubble. grant the wish within 30 minutes for bonus joy (the diary gives you a shiny \u2726 credit). ignored wishes make it a lil sad.
after eating (and sometimes just because), your goodachi poops. tap the mess or the clean button — either parent can. a mess left out about 90 minutes makes it sick: joy drops to zero, no presents appear, and no games until someone gives it medicine. sickness never kills — but a sick goo is a sad, empty-handed goo.
2 to 4 times a day (it varies!!), a wrapped present appears next to your goodachi. tap it to open it — inside is an item, and the longer your streak, the luckier the pull. each parent is guaranteed at least one present a day — the last one is saved for whoever hasn't opened one yet. the rest go to whoever taps first. your luck level climbs at streaks 7 / 30 / 60 / 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 and maxes at lvl 10 with a full 365-day year. rarity goes from COMMON up to 1-in-10,000,000. check the goo-dex to see what you've discovered.
in the evening, tuck it in — while it sleeps (8 hours), the hearts FREEZE until morning. that's the trick to waking up to a happy goo.
every day that BOTH of you take care of it — anything counts: a feed, a clean-up, a game, opening a present, even a lil pat — the streak goes up. it dies two ways: if a full day passes without both of you showing up, or if NOBODY checks in at all for a whole 24 hours — it gets sick from the neglect and fades. (a tucked-in goodachi pauses that clock while it sleeps — bedtime protects the night.) you can revive it but the streak starts over (your best is remembered forever — tap the flame to see it).
every single care action — from either of you — earns your goodachi xp. levels climb through badge tiers: bronze → silver (lvl 5) → gold (10) → platinum (15) → diamond (20) → rainbow (30) → HOLOGRAPHIC (50). the badge shines on the birth certificate. every tier-up (and a few levels in between) drops a prize present for EACH parent, and levels 15 / 30 / 50 bank a free goo-sitter day. better prizes the higher you climb!!
the diary (on the main page and in the menu) shows who did what, day by day — and you can tap the lil ♥ on your goomate's moments to send a thank-you (it counts as caring!!). the moment both parents accept, your goodachi gets an official birth certificate — birthplace, personality, favorite food, the works. it's in the menu forever.
if you're BOTH in the app at the same time, your goodachi NOTICES — expect a freakout. and when one parent hasn't visited in a couple of days, it starts to miss them out loud... so the parent who IS there can pass the message along. the padlocked fifth heart? that's the both-of-you heart — solo care can never fill it.
tap anything in the collection to put it on. one item per body part. both parents share the collection and the fit.
only the exact invite text can claim the second parent spot, and after that only your two phones can feed it. everyone else with the link can just look (and be jealous).
lost the link? it's in "my goodachis" on your phone, or ask your goomate to resend it. new phone or cleared your browser? open the pet link, hit "re-pair my device" in the menu, and text your goomate the two-word magic phrase you get — an approve button pops up on the pet page on THEIR phone, and once they tap it, you're back. just know: if you BOTH wipe your phones at the same time, it's orphaned forever. we don't have accounts, so there's nothing to log back into. take care of your phones like you take care of your goodachi.

Goodachi is a virtual pet game where two people keep a creature alive by feeding it every day. we reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or begin charging for any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. we do not guarantee that Goodachi will always be available, accurate, or free from errors or interruptions.
pets, items, skins, streaks, and fits are virtual, exist only inside Goodachi, and have no monetary value. they can be lost, reset, or removed at any time, including when a pet dies in the game or the service changes. we may remove or rename pets with offensive names. also: goodachis are not real creatures. probably.
you must be at least 13 years old to use Goodachi. if you're under 18, get a parent or guardian's ok. Goodachi does not require an account — your access is stored locally in your own browser.
you agree not to: access or interact with the service using automated means, including bots, scripts, scraping tools, or unauthorized third-party software (including automated feeding); exploit bugs or vulnerabilities; use offensive pet names; harass anyone; or use the service for any unlawful purpose. you may not use Goodachi for commercial purposes without our written permission. we can block access for any of this.
Goodachi is currently free to play. if we ever add paid features, we will present their terms and pricing before you buy anything.
each pet lives at a unique link, and your browser stores a random device token that proves your phone is one of the pet's two parents. the token is the only credential — there are no accounts and no passwords. if you clear your browser data you lose your parent access; your co-parent can vouch you back in with the re-pair flow, but if BOTH parents lose their tokens at the same time, the pet is orphaned and cannot be recovered. invite links are one-time: only send yours to the one person you want as the second parent. we may disable any link we believe is being abused.
we reserve the right to modify, suspend, limit, discontinue, or permanently shut down Goodachi, in whole or in part, and to disable any pet link, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. we are not liable for any loss of pets, items, streaks, or access resulting from changes to or discontinuation of the service.
all content on Goodachi — including the creature, art, items, names, design, and branding — is owned by Goodachi.com. you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. (sharing your own pet's share card is not just allowed, it's encouraged.)
Goodachi uses third-party services, including Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure. we are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those services.
Goodachi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
to the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodachi.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Goodachi, including loss of data, pets, items, or access.
any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Goodachi will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Delaware, United States, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, on an individual basis, except where prohibited by law. you agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
we may update these terms from time to time. continued use of Goodachi after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
if any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Goodachi ("we," "us," "our") operates the website goodachi.com and related services. Goodachi is operated by Goodachi.com.
game data: Goodachi has no signup — we don't ask for your name, phone number, or email. for each pet we store on our servers: its name, its items and streak, feeding timestamps, invite codes, and the random device tokens of its two parents. tokens are random strings saved in your browser and are not linked to your identity.
local data: your device token, the list of pets on your phone, and an anonymous visitor id are stored locally in your browser (local storage) so the game works without an account.
device and usage data: we use our own first-party analytics to operate and improve the game. this may include how you interact with it — screens viewed, pets created, feeds, items dug up, outfit changes, share-card taps, and invite links sent or opened — along with your approximate location (derived from IP address), device type, browser, screen size, time zone, and referring source. analytics uses a random anonymous id, not your identity, and we never see who you text your invite links to.
google analytics: we also use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use Goodachi. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location, and device information, and processes it on Google's servers (we enable IP anonymization). you can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. for questions about Google's handling of your data, contact Google directly or see policies.google.com/privacy.
contact data: if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
we use this information to operate and improve Goodachi, including to run the two-parent feeding game, understand and improve performance through analytics, respond to support requests, develop new features, and comply with legal obligations.
we do not sell your personal information, show ads, or track you across the internet. we share information only with service providers necessary to operate Goodachi or as required by law, including our hosting and infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, and Google (for Google Analytics, described above).
pet data and our analytics data are stored on our servers using Cloudflare's infrastructure (including Cloudflare KV and Cloudflare D1). you can review Cloudflare's privacy practices at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Google Analytics data is processed by Google as described in section 2. if we add other third-party analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy.
we use your browser's local storage to save your device token and your pets on your device. we may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure usage. you can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings — but heads up: clearing them removes your device token, which is your proof of being a parent (your co-parent can vouch you back in with re-pair).
pet data is kept while a pet is active; abandoned pets may be deleted over time. analytics data is retained on our servers for as long as needed for the purposes described above, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
you can clear your local data at any time through your browser settings. depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to access, delete, or correct your personal information. want a pet wiped from our servers sooner? contact us at [email protected] and we'll delete it.
Goodachi is not directed at children under 13. we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. if we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
we use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS, to help protect information. no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
we may update this policy from time to time. we will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
